<dcterms:description><![CDATA[Our neighbors being evacuated via the truck already had 0-5 feet of water in their homes. At the insistence of a rescue worker, my family evacuated less than an hour after I took this photo. Although our lot is on a leg of the main Buffalo Bayou artery, our home didn't flood. After rising over 29 feet, the Buffalo Bayou water stopped rising just 3/8 of an inch short of our front door threshold. Nevertheless, we did have to stay evacuated for eight days, plus another couple of days without power.]]></dcterms:description>
