    <dcterms:description><![CDATA[This photo was taken in Huffman, TX @ approx 6AM the morning of the storm. This is the first photo I took of the storm. I woke up at 1:30AM that first morning &amp; went and peeked out our glass front door to see if this storm was worth all that fuss. I saw nothing but a couple of puddles that had formed during the storm, so I went back to bed. My husbands alarm went off around 5:30AM and this is what I saw. Our yard and my neighbors yards were a water world. ]]></dcterms:description>

    <dcterms:description><![CDATA[This was the 1st morning of the storm here in Huffman. This is what we woke up to- a water world. I can&#039;t tell you what I screamed when I opened the door at 5:30 that morning. I definitely panicked! This was our island for 4 days. We kept our canoe tied to our porch the entire time.]]></dcterms:description>

    <dcterms:description><![CDATA[This photo was taken in Huffman on Sept. 2nd. This was the 1st time I had opened our tool shed since it had been flooded. It sat in water for 4 days, and even when I opened it boards were still wet. Tools that laid on the ground collected pools of water where they had grooves in their plastic casings. It smelled awful, of sewage and mold.]]></dcterms:description>

    <dcterms:title><![CDATA[After the Hurricane - Neighborhood Bonding]]></dcterms:title>
    <dcterms:description><![CDATA[My wife was on the ride-out team at Texas Children&#039;s Hospital during the hurricane for an extended period of time and had to remain at the hospital while I stayed with the children in our home. After the roads were safe enough for her to navigate her way home after the main flooding event, my wife decided to throw an After-Harvey Potluck Party and invited all we knew and asked them to invite their neighbors as well. We had a very large turnout, meeting new neighbors and enjoying our time not being cooped up for several days. In this case, Harvey brought many of us together and has enriched the relationships in our lives.]]></dcterms:description>
