Description An account of the resource As soon as the water began to rise near the back windows, we began digging a French drain, but we are seniors and we were unable to lift the flagstones that had to be moved. A young man named Anthony Reed single handedly made a path for the water to escape our side yard and prevented our home from flooding. If Anthony had not helped us we would have had ruination in a house we just bought and moved into. We were lucky because we had less than $10,000 in damages. I was crushed by all the trucks still picking up everything from the curbs. The houses were empty in Sour Lake and everything was being picked up and taken away.
