Andrew Whiteis the man pictured. He used his boat to bring people throughout Houston to safety after severe flooding damaged many homes and streets. Andrew White is a husband, a father of three and the president of a private equity firm. On the morning of Sunday, Aug. 27, 2018, White received a phone call from the police department the police asked White if he had a boat. White said "yes" and assisted police in rescuing people suffering duringHurricane Harvey recovery.
