Title

Captain Tom Moncrief of Pearland Police Dept. wading out of our neighborhood to be picked up at the front entrance in a rescue vehicle to go work indefinitely during the storm.

Description

My husband, Captain Tom Moncrief of the Pearland Police Department was scheduled to start his long hurricane shift, but our neighborhood was flooded in. The police rescue vehicle came to pick him up at the front entrance and he had to wade down the street to the entrance to meet them to start his shift. It was an emotional time for me since I had no idea when the next time would be that I would see him again, or what the future would hold for our belongings.
